FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO JOINS OTHER SYMPATHIZERS TO PAY LAST RESPECT TO GALADIMAN NUPE

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among hundreds of sympathizers that attended the funeral of the late Danjuma Galadima, the Galadiman Nupe.

The Funeral which was conducted at the Umaru Magiji Central Mosque Bida, was also attended by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, Etsu Nupe and Niger State Council of the Traditional Rulers,Alh. Yahaya Abubakar, Emir of Agaie, Alh. Yusuf Nuhu and that of Kagara, Alh. Ahmad Garba Gunna.

The Chief Imam of Bida, Sheikh Adamu Yakatun led the funeral prayer

The Farmer Governor, his entourage, Etsu Nupe, other Emirs and many title holders among others all retreated to Banyagi Cemetery Bida for burial.

He thereafter went to the residence of the deceased where the Governor encouraged family members of the deceased to accept the demise of late Galadiman Nupe as the act of Allah while keeping fate in Him for comfort.

The Farmer Governor also proceeded to Etsu Nupe’s palace and condoled with him over the recent deaths of prominent people of the Nupe Kingdom and assured him of his continued support.

He paid a similar visit to the family of the late All Progressives Congress (APC) Bida Local Government Chairman, Alh. Salihu Ndagi.
